BridgingApps just published the following BridgingApps Reviewed App to the site:
My Profession is a matching activity for children learning about occupations and the necessary supplies needed to do the job. The app presents five people in various dress to indicate their profession on one side of the page. On the other side are items used by that profession. The person and the item they use are dragged into the two boxes in the middle of the screen. If the answer is correct, the pictures disappear. If incorrect, the two pictures return to the side of the page.
This app was reviewed with elementary aged children with autism. They enjoyed the music and sounds presented by the app. They were familiar with most of the occupations but needed help to explain what some of the people did and what they needed. Most of the children were able to use the app independently.
