How to Delete and Rename Folders on the iPad

Have you ever created a folder by mistake? Or do you simply want to get rid of a folder? Follow these steps to delete a folder.

First, tap the folder you wish to delete.

Next, tap and hold down an app in the folder until the apps begin to wiggle.

One by one remove the apps by dragging them out of the folder. Once you have removed all of the apps but the last one, the folder will automatically go away and the last app will go back to the Home Screen.

Voila!
