Uzu – A Generative Design Playground is a fun app that can be described as a spyrograph for your device. Users can create and manipulate animations using their fingers to move between the 10 different modes of animation. It creates electrical pulses and flares that spin around based on where you move.
Uzu can be used in a variety of settings from individual/groups to home and classroom. This app can work on fine motor and finger isolation skills as well as visual/ sensory needs. It can be used to create moving animations to work on sequencing or turn taking in a group setting. It can also be used to help relax and focus by creating a simple animation to have the user focus on and breathe.
