The Starbucks app gives users a more personal Starbucks experience. The app is designed for users to order, pay, and earn rewards at Starbucks locations. Users are able to see a menu of items so that they can order on their app before going to the location. There is also an option to add money onto the app so that the user can pay directly from their app and proceed to the mobile order pickup location inside the Starbucks. The app tracks their reward level and membership status and will show them their progress on the app. The more rewards the user earns, the higher their status will be, and when they can redeem their points for free drinks and food. They can also purchase gifts cards for others directly from the app. The gift card information will be send to the recipient’s e-mail.
