Speech with Milo: Interactive Storybook is an excellent app for addressing issues of receptive and expressive language development. The app is a story with the animal characters of Milo, Melvin and Maggie going to the park. The storybook is 33 pages long and each page has a sentence that can be read by the child or read to them. It has interactive pictures on each page that makes sounds, noises, move or change colors when touched. The pages also have a record button so that the child can tell the story on their own and play it back. The app can be used for naming or describing, teaching prepositions, identifying facial expressions, answering questions and increasing utterance length.
