Sago Mini Snow Day AppBridgingApps just published the following BridgingApps Reviewed App on the site:

Sago Mini Snow Day is a fun app for young children as they pretend to ride on a sled. This app was reviewed with preschool children and young elementary children with autism or developmental delays. The children enjoyed moving and stopping the sled along the path. They watched the faces on the characters as they reacted to the different jumps and objects. Although the children playing this game have never ridden on a sled, they enjoyed talking about what it would be like to ride on one. There are no verbal or written instructions during the play of the app so all verbalizations are presented by the adult or child playing the game.

Sago Mini Snow Day is an excellent tool for teaching or reinforcing the skills of following directions, understanding and using spatial concepts, identifying emotions, using words and phrases to describe objects or actions and sequencing a story. It is highly recommended for children with developmental delays, speech or language disorder or individuals on the autism spectrum.
