Listening Power Grades 4-8+ is an app to develop language processing (grammar, vocabulary, narrative and question comprehension) and auditory processing tasks (auditory memory auditory closure, auditory figure-ground). There are 5 activities in this app and over 1200 questions in the following categories: grammar, fast sentences, meaning, missing sounds and stories. Each activity is ALL auditory and can be leveled from easy, intermediate to advanced.
Teachers and speech therapists can have more than one student use the app and track individual data. Our reviewer uses this app as an auditory assessment for all students to have a baseline understanding of where they are at the beginning of the school year.
Listening Power Grades 4-8+ is also helpful for older students as the information is more interesting, relevant and appealing to young adults.
