BridgingApps Reviewed App | Journal

BridgingApps just published the following BridgingApps Reviewed App on the site:

Journal is a built-in app that comes pre-installed on new iPhones and is added to older iPhones when updated to iOS 17 or later. The app uses recent photos, locations visited, events from the calendar, etc. to suggest topic ideas for the user’s daily journaling along with reflection prompts to inspire focus on gratitude, kindness, and more.

This app could be useful for people of many ages and ability levels, including teens or young adults with anxiety, Autism, ADHD, or other disorders that may benefit from using journaling as a tool for reflection or staying organized. It could also be beneficial for older adults, people with brain injuries, or other diagnoses that may cause problems with memory. In the classroom or with homework related assignments, this app could also help with organizing thoughts for writing about certain events- need to talk about what happened over summer vacation or during a certain holiday? Keep notes related to certain events and photos in the Journal app to later put together for a presentation. Also, since it is by Apple, it is designed to work with Siri and VoiceOver, so that people with disabilities that effect reading or writing as well as those that are blind or visually impaired can still create journal entries with ease.
