Everyday Skills is an app designed to assist people with intellectual disabilities or autism practice important routines and activities for living independently in the community. It is packed with topics such as visiting a grocery store or the barbershop, staying in a hotel, taking care of pets, and community signs and much more. Each topic has a slide show style format with illustrations with written and audio instructions. This app has a simple, clean user interface with minimal distractions. When the app first opens, audio instructions play to tell the user what to do, “Please tap the topic you would like to view”, making it easy for the user to begin learning right away.
