BridgingApps just published the following BridgingApps Reviewed App on the site:
Dr. Panda Toy Cars is a free app that allows users to move around a town with a variety of cars, boats and vehicles. Additional purchases open more content including a winter town, beach resort and construction site. The town included in the free app has a fire station, police station, hospital, houses and more. The app can be used to teach following directions, vocabulary skills, reasoning skills and gives the child the opportunity to request help or provide the conversation used by the characters.
As users move around the town, the characters wave, say “Hi†and request assistance by showing a picture in a speech bubble. There are trucks and boats that can be loaded with blocks, houses catch on fire and need the fire truck, the police can catch a burglar and take him back to the police station. The app has no verbal instructions and no conversation between the characters.
