Action Verbs is an interactive ELA app which provides a fun way for children to learn action verbs. This app focuses on helping kids learn action words playing virtual activities. Within each of nine activity “boards” users have a choice of eight games: flashcards, explore, photo touch, true or false, memory cards, pop quiz, match up and Bingo.
We have used this app with children with autism and with children who have language impairments. It is a great way to motivate and engage children in learning. The app is easy to use, which makes it a great way for kids to practice and learn action verbs on their own.
