BridgingApps just published the following BridgingApps Reviewed App on the site:
Toca Doctor is a self-paced app for early learners that uses puzzles and games played within a child appropriate human body graphic. It features 21 different games learners can complete that require tapping or dragging pieces in order to “treat†a patient. The user must touch different highlighted parts of the body for each game to begin.
The app is useful for teaching body parts, names and functions. It can also be used to teach following directions, descriptive words and verbs. There are no words within the app, just sounds and noises during play. The teacher, therapist, parent or child can provide the necessary verbalizations.
