The app is free for users, however they can upgrade to the premium version which allows them to listen ad-free, offline, and gives them other features such as unlimited song skips the ability to play any song without listening on shuffle. The free version lets users watch short ads and then get up thirty minutes of interrupted listening. Spotify is a great app for any music lover, high school or college students, or students in transition.
