Sort it Out 2Â Lite is an educational tool for early learners ages 4 and up that can be used to teach sorting and classifying of toys and objects. The fun game app can also help develop language, conceptualization, visual perception and fine motor skills.
Gameplay involves simply sorting familiar items by dragging each into one of the areas in the space at the top of the screen. If the user puts the picture in the correct section, a sound is made and the picture remains. If the answer is incorrect, a different sound is made and the picture returns to the bottom of the screen.
Sort It Out 2Â can be used to teach naming, describing and classifying skills. It was also used as a carryover opportunity for skills learned in therapy.
