Rush Hour, the original sliding block traffic jam puzzle, is a problem solving puzzle that is fun for all ages. The app has a simple interface that is intuitive and requires no reading. The free version comes with 35 puzzles from beginning to high expert level. The $2.99 version comes with a whopping 2500 challenges. There is a hint button that can be used if needed and a solve button. These options minimize the frustration if the user cannot solve the puzzle.
We used the app with an 80-year-old client who had never seen this puzzle before. She was able to figure out how to work the app and was able to easily complete the first puzzle. The app worked smoothly and reliably. Our user liked this app the best of all the reviewed apps.
