BridgingApps just published the following BridgingApps Reviewed App on the site:
Puzzle Pop – by Duck Duck Moose brings puzzles to life, with colorful illustrations and 27 levels for different ages and skills. Children will learn problem solving, sequencing, spatial reasoning, shapes, patterns and color recognition.
The first puzzles start out showing the end product, before moving a single “piece” of the puzzle, which students place back in the correct spot. Our group of students cheered (verbally and using non-verbal gestures) along with the app when they successfully placed the puzzle pieces in the correct spot.
Teachers loved this fun way to help build cognitive skills, as the children worked on attention, memory, and thinking. Preschool and kinder students cannot get enough of this fun puzzle app. Starting out with easy puzzles was a great way to give students the confidence they needed to keep going.
