Phonics with Phonzy is an app that can be used to teach initial sounds in words. The lesson follows a pattern of reviewing old sounds, learning new ones, and then playing with the character Phonzy by mimicking noises. Users learn sounds by seeing a key picture that coordinates with the sound, hearing Phonzy say the sound and word, and repeating the sound and word back.
