Hey You! ADHD is a musical app designed to help children with daily routines such as getting dressed, bathing and bedtime. This app is useful for children with difficulties in establishing routines and remembering the steps. The app presents the children with a fun and engaging song that incorporates directions for simple tasks. It also provides the parents with helpful instructions and rewards to use with the children.
This app was reviewed using the “Getting Dressed†song. This song includes 5 verses: getting up, taking pajamas off, getting dressed, bathroom chores and get going. There is a chorus repeated between each verse. The child can learn the chorus and verses with repeated use. The child is reminded of the steps to complete the activity without having a parent’s repeated verbal or visual instructions.
