BridgingApps just published the following BridgingApps Reviewed App on the site:
The DrumJam app was designed by percussionist Pete Lockett. All of the percussion parts were recorded by Pete himself and offers the user the chance to build layers of music using a variety of sounds, techniques and rhythms with authentic sounds and loops. Users can also play on top of the grooves they create offering opportunities for multiple players, and working on social skills, turn taking and problem solving. Users do not have to have musical experience, ability or full mobility of upper extremities to create the rhythms/music as users simply have to drag their fingers around to create the music.
This app offers a large array of authentic instruments and loops with the opportunity to purchase additional sounds and loops through in-app purchases. Users can record loops or an entire performance to import into your DAW or other audio app as 44.1kHz 16-bit WAV files. Finally, users can export tracks through iTunes file sharing, email, SoundCloud or directly through another app which provides many opportunities for sharing creations.
