BridgingApps just published the following BridgingApps Reviewed App on the site:
Dr. Panda Airport is an entertaining app that allows a child to pretend that he is helping at an airport. With 10 different activities, the child will have many experiences and opportunities to learn new things. It also gives the child the chance to become familiar with the different places in the airport and what they may have to do while they are there.
The app can be used to teach following directions, spatial concepts, vocabulary, conversational skills, social skills and reasoning skills. The app gives the child to opportunity to request help when needed and provide conversation between the characters in the app. The characters move around the airport so there are many chances to use spatial concepts and directional vocabulary during play.
This app is highly recommended for reinforcement of concepts taught in therapy or as use for carryover skills learned. It provides the child the opportunity to talk about situations when they travel and practice language skills and social skills needed at the airport.
