The Cooking Matters app is an wonderful extension of the Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, which connects kids in need with nutritious food and teaches their families how to cook healthy, affordable meals. Found in communities all over the United States and by partnering with local agencies and groups, The Cooking Matters program offers a series of cooking classes as well as grocery tours. Their website is an excellent resource that includes fun instructional videos and handouts that would enhance any classroom or family’s nutrition and cooking experience.
