Computers at Work is an app that is a skills-based program for vocational training for secondary school students and helps individuals prepare for office jobs. This program is also available as a CD and a license for a web-based app. There is a free Lite version of this app available for the iPad and Android. This easy to use app is a helpful tool with a simple interface that includes two exercises called Order Processing and Data Entry. These two exercises serve as practice for real world data entry into forms that are found in typical office procedures. The app is helpful for introducing students, young adults or adults who are looking to gain skills to get prepared for working in an office or clerical setting. Parents, teachers, transition specialists and counselors working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities can use this app as part of pre-employment skills training.
