BridgingApps Recently Updated App| BARD Mobile

BridgingApps just published the following BridgingApps Recently Updated App to the site:

Recently Updated to include braille autoscroll, enhanced options on VoiceOver, as well as other great features, BARD Mobile is an application for Apple iOS devices such as the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. It also runs on Android and Amazon Kindle Fire devices. The app primarily benefits those who are blind, low vision, or otherwise have a hard time reading a physical book. The app allows eligible patrons of the National Library Service (NLS) to read thousands of books and magazines in audio and Braille formats. This means you must have a qualifying disability that prevents you from reading a printed book, live in the United States, and become a patron of your state library. You will also have to create an account on the BARD website so you can download these titles. For more information, visit http://www.loc.gov/nls and fill out the application if you are not a member.
