BridgingApps recently participated in a webinar hosted by Easterseals Crossroads INDATA project, “Apps, Apps, Apps”. The July webinar took place via ZOOM and was a full day of helpful information about mobile technology and apps. Among the topics covered by various Easterseals Crossroads staff were an Intro to Apps, Apps for Communication, Apps for Living, and Apps for Learning. The BridgingApps presentation closed out the day with an overview of the many services offered by BridgingApps as well as creative ideas about how some of our favorite apps can help people with disabilities. Among these apps were some for getting stuff done such as inku- tool for dyslexia and Speechify, some for leisure such as Hoopla Digital and Explore.org, and some creative uses for fun apps like Chatterpix and Heads Up!.
