Time Timer is a very easy to use and customizable timer app. It can be a great motivational tool and help kids or adults focus. Visually seeing time pass can be very valuable for those who don’t understand the abstract concept of time. There is a version for the iPhone and one for the iPad/iPod Touch. This is helpful in the event that you need a timer on the go and your iPad isn’t available. This app was used in an early childhood special education classroom. For example, when a child did not prefer an activity we would set the app so that they knew exactly how long they needed to participate.
