Learning patterns is a precursor to learning mathematics. The app Learning Patterns introduces users to the concept of patterns and critical thinking skills. This concept helps users learn how to predict what will come next and problem solving. We have used this app with students who are having difficulty with problem solving and learning to differentiate between letters and numbers. Using this app has also been beneficial to students who have difficulty with visual discrimination.
