Our back to school Fall Open House was a great time for everyone. Â Guests learned a little something and made connections with others using a mobile device to benefit someone with a disability. Â Easter Seals Central Texas Occupational therapist, Quina Brown, demonstrated apps that she has been using during her therapy sessions. Â Parent Jennifer Bengston demonstrated apps that she uses with her child, including Proloquo2Go. Â And App Developer Kristin Steen demonstrated the app that she has created called Flashcards by Me, as well as many other apps that she uses with her son. Â Julie Smith demonstrated different aspects of the BridgingApps website and displayed all the different hardware options that can make a mobile device more accessible.
Due to Halloween we will meet on Thursday November 1st from 6-7pm instead of our usual “last Wednesday”.  We are in the process of finding a different location for this meeting.  I will post the new meeting site on our map as soon as we have confirmation.  This will be more of a presentation style meeting and we look forward to seeing you there!!
