Walk With Me 2026: Not Finished Yet

Thanks to all who joined us this year for Walk With Me, Easter Seals Greater Houston’s annual fundraiser at the Houston Zoo. Despite fickle spring weather and a few late-morning showers, an estimated 3,500+ people turned out on Saturday, April 11, to “Walk With” ESGH for the event’s 15th year.

The physical finish line may have been crossed, but the support stream is still flowing: online donation pages will be open through May. See our BridgingApps Team Fundraising Page to help us raise more for resources to support ESGH clients, including this year’s young Walk With Me ambassadors:

  • Hailey, age 14, who leads an active life with multiple chromosome-based disabilities.
  • Lucyana, age 3, an energetic Caroline School student with cerebral palsy.
  • Zion, age 2, who was born with multiple serious impairments but is known for a “go-getter spirit” and “love for life” (his family’s words).

P. S. Besides being the 15th year for Walk With Me, 2026 is the 15th anniversary of BridgingApps’ joining Easter Seals Greater Houston. Watch for a “Happy Birthday to us” post, coming soon!
