Mobile Device Tech Talk: BridgingApps’ lab-on-the-go

Please join us for what we call “lab-on-the-go” at Catholic Charities in Richmond, Texas. In these sessions, we share some of our favorite apps and tech tips with the patrons at the Mamie George Community Center. In our semi-monthly trainings, we alternate between talking about computers and mobile devices (such as phones and tablets).
This is our first session this month and our next session in July will be on Tuesday, July 21.
Typically we meet on the first Wednesday of the month, but because of the holiday we were going to meet on Wednesday, July 15. We received a message from Catholic Charities staff that we needed to move the date to Friday, July 10 due to a conflicting event on July 15.
- The GetSetUp website (a new favorite resource) especially made for seniors. You can use it to learn about technology and other topics of interest including hobbies, medicare benefits, etc.
- How to use your calendar on your phone. If you have a laptop, you can bring it and we can show you how to access the same calendar on your computer.As always, please make sure to bring your passwords for your accounts including Google and/or Apple icloud.
