Laptop Tech Talk: BridgingApps’ lab-on-the-go

Please join us for what we call “lab-on-the-go” at Catholic Charities in Richmond, Texas. In these sessions, we share some of our favorite apps and tech tips with the patrons at the Mamie George Community Center.  Due to staffing changes and new program offerings at Easter Seals, we want to share with our patrons that we will be cutting back our visits to once a month.  As a way to support our seniors more throughout the week with their use of technology, we want to get our patrons more comfortable with the GetSetup app.  

For this session, we will be talking about the GetSetUp app and setting up accounts.  Bring your laptop if you have one. 

Also, if you received a laptop and accessories from us last year, bring those so we can help show you how to use those (mice, keyboards, headphones, screen extenders, etc).

In November we will be talking about changing notification settings on your phone.  We would like for participants to learn a little about notifications before our next class.
