Young Adult (and Parent) Open Lab: Stafford Location with virtual option

Please join us in our Stafford AT lab for our Young Adult (and Parent) open lab.  This event is open to the public to visit and will be held every 4th Thursday of the month. With upcoming holidays, we will be adjusting the schedule for November and December.  The lab is open to explore fun and useful apps for your smartphone and tablet.  We will also be sharing resources for transition-aged adults and their parents from our Texas Youth 2 Adult website.  Although we will gear our conversations towards to young adults, it is very helpful to have parents attend as well.  This website is geared to helping parents navigate all the many lists of things to do as their young adults transition into adulthood.

This month we will be talking about email basics and go over some tips when using Gmail and Outlook to send messages.  We will be hands-on, so make sure you have your login information and your device if you already have an email account.If you need to create an email account, we can do that together.

These meetings are always held in-person, but we would like to start offering a virtual option for people that can’t join us in person, but still want to participate.  It will be held at the same time.
