Getting Started: iPads for Special Needs Book Announcement

I am proud to share some exciting news from BridgingApps! Sami Rahman and I began using iPads to help our own children with special needs, and we can tell you first-hand, getting started with mobile devices and apps for the purpose of improving the life of someone with a disability can be challenging. Among his many gifts, Sami is a determined father who saw a need in the community for a resource to help others get started with mobile devices. I invite you to learn more about his vision for filling that need:

As co-founder of bridgingapps.org I have come across many people who are trying to get the most out of the iPad for their child, student, client, friend or loved one with special needs. Using what we have learned in the bridgingapps.org program, I wrote a book titled Getting Started: iPads 4 Special Needs. A portion of the proceeds goes directly to Easter Seals Greater Houston to support bridgingapps.org. I am interested in how this resource may be helpful to you, and I would love your feedback. 1. Would you mind adding a table of contents link for this book? I am thinking about purchasing it, but I would like to know more about it before I purchase it.
