Connections-The Special Needs Directory is an app designed to guide and connect parents/caregivers with resources for their special needs dependent in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. Connections provides the user with a list of categories, which assists in locating providers and businesses within these fields. The Connections app is powered by CareStarter, a virtual social worker that provides filtered, relevant local referrals and information about resources for the families of patients with chronic illnesses, to make it easier to find local services for education, therapy, nutrition, recreation, respite care and medical needs.
